Tobaksfakta was founded in 2010 and is an independent, non-profit organisation with 15 national member organisations. Our work is based on the WHO’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, FCTC. It provides support in efforts to prevent and reduce all forms of tobacco use, nicotine addiction and passive smoking. We work to increase knowledge of and commitment to the Framework Convention among decision-makers and society at large. The overall goal of Swedish tobacco and nicotine policy is to reduce all use of tobacco and nicotine products and to prevent minors from starting to use these products.
In the film, it is explained how nicotine creates addiction and what consequences nicotine dependence can have.
In this film it is explained what white snus is, why it attracts young people and how it is negative for health.
This film shows the negative consequences tobacco has on the environment and the climate.
