The conference is organized by the European Cancer Leagues and the Italian LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori). The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, public health organizations and others with an interest in tobacco and nicotine issues.
The aim is to present new research, exchange best practices and drive policy action that promotes tobacco-free and nicotine-free environments in European cities. The theme this year is “Nicotine-Free Spaces for Healthier Cities”. It underlines the importance of urban spaces for public health and how regulation, prevention and community engagement can shape these environments.
